Alt pop rock band Suede have announced a new tour for their tenth studio album – and York is on the list.
The Southbank Centre Takeover, in London, has already sold out and the national Antidepressants tour will come to York Barbican on Saturday 7 February 2026.
An exclusive fan tour presale begins from Wednesday 27 August when fans purchase the album from the official store. General sale starts on Friday 29 August at 9am.
Lead singer Brett Anderson said of the new album: “Antidepressants is our post-punk record. It’s about the tensions of modern life, the paranoia, the anxiety, the neurosis.
“We are all striving for connection in a disconnected world. This was the feel I wanted the songs to have. The album is called Antidepressants. This is broken music for broken people.”
The 17 date tour begins in Folkstone in January and closes in Brighton in February.
Tickets will be available via the York Barbican website.
