Firefighters have tackled a blaze started deliberately in an Acomb play park.
They were called out at 10.06pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews extinguished the fire using a knapsack sprayer.
“The cause of this fire is believed to had been deliberate.”
