North Yorkshire set for a sparkling Bank Holiday weekend

The skies above North Yorkshire will come alive this weekend as Newby Hall and Gardens hosts the spectacular Fireworks Championships.

On Saturday (23 August), three of the UK’s leading pyrotechnics companies will go head-to-head, each putting on a ten minute display synchronised to music in a bid to claim the title.

The audience will have the final say, casting votes from their mobile phones to decide the winner, before the night ends with a magnificent firework finale that will light up the historic grounds.
