Three York restaurants have been announced as finalists in the English Curry Awards 2025.
The prestigious culinary event aims to shine a spotlight on the talents within the English curry industry and to ‘represent the creme de la creme’ of chefs, restaurateurs, and takeaway services across the nation.
And three establishments in York have been revealed as finalists.
Bombay Spice, Goodramgate, and Atithi, Fishergate, have been nominated for Curry Restaurant of the Year in the Yorkshire and the Humber region, and Everest Gurkha Nepalese Restaurant, Fossgate, has been nominated for Nepalese Restaurant of the Year.
Bombay Spice is also shortlisted for Indian Restaurant Of The Year.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony which will take place on Monday 11 August at the Eastside Rooms, Birmingham.
