A woman’s body was discovered in Harrogate earlier this morning (Monday).
Police received a report from the gardens on Montpellier Hill at 6:15 am today.
A cordon, including screening, was put in place while officers investigated the circumstances of the death.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
“At this stage, we do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.
“Our thoughts at this time are with the woman’s family.”
