Mini and Junior runners will also be able to celebrate their achievements with their very own medal, as well as a selection of post-run treats.

The Mini and Junior events are this year partnered with the charity PhysCap; a Yorkshire based charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for children living with physical and learning disabilities, providing funding for specialised and therapeutic equipment.

Tristan Batley-Kyle, operations director at Run For All commented, ‘We’re thrilled to be bringing the York 10K back this year, with the exciting addition of Arla Protein as the title sponsor.

“The Arla Protein York 10K is set to be a true celebration of community spirit, set against the iconic backdrop of one of the UK’s most historic cities.

“When you’re a seasoned runner or taking on your first 10K, the atmosphere on the day is always electric.

“We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors and partners, volunteers and people of York for their continued support in helping us deliver another unforgettable event.”
