Emergency services were called out after a car crashed into a shop in Filey last night (Friday).
Scarborough and Filey firefighters were called to the incident on John Street at 5.06pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A car had impacted the front of a shop.

“Crews had remove part of the door to allow the driver to exit the vehicle.
“The driver was then taken to hospital by ambulance. Fire crew isolated the utilities in the building.
“The incident was then left in the hands of police.”
