A woman had fallen down an embankment in York yesterday evening (30 July).
A fire crew from Acomb responded to reports of the incident in New Earswick at approximately 10:26pm.
Using a triple extension ladder, the woman was rescued by firefighters and brought back up to road level.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed she was then left in the care of paramedics.
