Two new arrivals have opened at York Station today (Monday).
The first is West Cornwall Pasty Co, which was revealed to be coming to the city train station in May 2025 – great for if you’re looking for a quick bite before your journey.
The shop sells a range of pasties, with fillings including beef, vegan steakless and of course a traditional Cornish pasty.

Situated in the left hand corner unit close to the entrance, the location had been empty since York Gin left in 2023.
The second is the rebranding of The Duke of York pub, now called The Line and Whistle. New signage and refurbishments inside accompany the new name, with brand new fixtures and fittings too.
The Duke of York is the second of the company’s pubs to be rebranded as The Line and Whistle name, following the first in Crewe Station.
Both new arrivals to York Station have been overseen by multi unit senior support manager, Carl Johnson-Umpleby.
The West Cornwall Pasty Co and The Line and Whistle are now both open for residents and visitors alike to enjoy from today.
