The Great Summer Social has returned to York Designer Outlet, offering weeks of free family fun.
The popular summer outdoor space is back and open from today (Wednesday) until Sunday 14 September.
Located just outside the south entrance, the free fun includes a beach for little ones (and big ones!), outdoor games like giant four in a row, Jenga, and Wobble Board maze game, giant deckchairs, and a brand new kids’ trail.
From Friday 18 July, little adventurers can embark on a treasure hunt around the outlet to find the hidden sandcastles – each representing a different Yorkshire beach. Once you’ve named them all, head to Guest Services for a special treat and a chance to win one of the sandcastle toys!
“We’re absolutely delighted to bring back ‘The Great Summer Social’ to York Designer Outlet,” said Paul Tyler, centre manager at York Designer Outlet.
“It’s all about creating a joyful and relaxed atmosphere where families can unwind and enjoy quality time together when taking a break from their designer shopping.
“With many free activities, from building sandcastles to exploring our new kids’ trail, we’re confident that everyone will find something to love during the summer holiday season.”
