A key North Yorkshire road will close soon for more than a week.
Sutton Bank on the A170 will be closed for eight days from 7am on Sunday 7 September to 7pm on Sunday 14 September.
North Yorkshire Council said: “This is to allow us to carry out maintenance to the rock face to prevent rock falls, and routine maintenance to the road.

“This ensures it remains in a structurally sound condition in the long term.
“Access to premises on the bank will be maintained whenever possible, however, due to the nature of the works, there may be times when access will be restricted.”
A signed diversion will be in place and can be seen via the North Yorkshire Council website.
