A man needed hospital treatment after being attacked outside a York city centre coffee shop.
Two men, unknown to the victim, approached him outside Costa Coffee on Parliament Street at 10.40pm on Tuesday 19 August.
He was knocked to the ground and was repeatedly kicked and stamped on. He was taken for treatment to York Hospital.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information if you witnessed/recorded the incident, or may know those involved.”
