A two-vehcile road traffic collision near Yarm has left a motorcyclist in a serious condition in hospital.
The incident took place at approximately 12:54pm on Tuesday 17 June, on Bridge Cottage Road, Over Dinsdale, near Yarm.
It involved a green tractor pulling a trailer and a Yahama red and black motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision and remains in hospital.
The road was closed for 11 hours whilst officers investigated the scene, and to allow for the vehicles to be recovered.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
“We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
