A woman was rescued from Selby canal last night (Sunday).
Firefighters were called to reports of a woman in the water at 8pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival crews assisted the female away from the water using level two water rescue equipment and left the female in the hands of the ambulance service.”
