There’s been a serious crash on a main road in North Yorkshire this morning (Friday).
It was on the A168 slip road connecting it to the A1M, close to Dishforth.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene. It has now reopened.
Crash location
Early this morning North Yorkshire Police said: “We’re currently at the scene of a serious collision on A168 as it meets with the A1 southbound.
“Diversions are in progress and there is likely to be some disruption for sometime.
“Please use alternatives routes whilst emergency services respond.”
The AA reported: “Exit ramp closed due to serious crash on A168 Westbound at A1(M) J49 (Thirsk / Dishforth). Slip road is closed heading onto the A1(M) soutbound.”
