Wendys is opening its York store tomorrow – and its first customers will be rewarded with a free burger.
YorkMix revealed last week that the US fast food restaurant was opening tomorrow (Thursday, 19 June).
Now it has revealed more details. Doors at the St Sampson’s Square venue will open at 10.30am.
Everyone in the queue before the doors open at 10.30am will receive a free Wendy’s single – a quarter pound beefburger with American cheese and salad.
After tomorrow, the opening hours will be 7am-11pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 10pm on Sundays.
The new restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Menu items include the Baconator, Wendy’s Single, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Frosty dessert in chocolate and vanilla.
Breakfast is available till 10.30am, with English muffins and an egg and cheese sandwich among the options.
The Wendys is opening in a long-empty shop unit on St Sampson’s Square, last home to the TM Lewin menswear store.
